To prepare your manuscript for formatting/typesetting

Manuscript formatting is a very important part of getting your 'baby' from the computer and into the readers hands, and can become very frustrating for the writer. This is why most author's send their MS to be typeset by someone who has the know how and the correct software to make it happen. Making sure your work meets mainstream publishing standards is a must. I use a book design program which allows me to convert your manuscript into a sellable, readable, perfectly built book. Once your word document has been edited and is ready for the world to read, it's time to bring it to life.

Simply send me your completed manuscript (word doc) as a whole, not chapter by chapter,
making sure it is ready for the final stage, and we will work together from there.

There are no hidden fees, or set up fees. You will be charged per finished page. Depending on the size of your published book, the page count could be slightly different from what you have come up with.

However, we won’t know the exact amount of finished pages until it’s complete, so I’ll need to estimate the final cost of the typeset book.

Price per page is $3.00 and this also includes a link for your book on my website to bring more readers to your site.

Even if you are not finished with your manuscript you will still want to start thinking about what you want on the front cover. You probably have hundreds of ideas floating around in your head, but picking just the right one can be a difficult decision. This is where I come in. It is my job to put together the perfect cover based on your vision. Maybe you don't really have a vision, just tell me a bit about the story and I will put a few things together and we can brain storm...finding the 'ultimate' design.

Now that we have the cover finished it is time to start marketing your 'pride and joy'. Book marks and business cards are a great way to get your name plastered all over. Everywhere you go you will want to leave some of your book marks. While eating out, leave them on the table, out at the store, leave some on the counter, even put them on the cars in the parking lot. Go to your local gym and tell them you are a local author and ask to put some at the front desk. You will find that most people enjoy helping others from their community.
